Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon is an actress. She is best known for her role in the movie called Legally Blonde. What few people know about her is that she began modelling when she was only 7 years old. In fact, she landed roles in various commercials. In addition, she was a full time actress as a kid too, featured in movies such as Jack the Bear (1993) and A Far Off Place (1993). Although she wanted to study English literature in college, she just couldn’t say no to acting in Fear (1996) and Freeway (1996).
It was only in 2001 when she became really successful by acting in Legally Blonde and Sweet Home Alabama (2002). The peak of her career was in 2006, when she took home the best actress Oscar for Walk the Line (2005). In addition, she was rewarded a a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010.
Other than that, Reese Witherspoon is a mother of three children. She was married to Ryan Phillippe from 1999 to 2007 and in 2011 she remarried talent agent Jim Toth.
